Mr. Khondker Md. Adnan Masud is a seasoned banking professional with over two decades of global experience across Corporate and Investment Banking, Credit, Transaction Banking, Financial Institutions, and Institutional Banking. He currently serves as Additional Managing Director of United Commercial Bank PLC and Chairman of UCB Investment Limited, where he provides strategic leadership and direction to drive sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining United Commercial Bank PLC, Mr. Masud held a regional leadership role as Head of Global Corporate Coverage for Southeast Asia and India at BBVA Bank S.A., Singapore. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in expanding business operations, enhancing revenue streams, and strengthening strategic client relationships across the region.

His distinguished career includes senior leadership positions at globally renowned institutions such as MUFG Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citibank, and Standard Chartered Bank. He has successfully led corporate and investment banking as well as transaction banking teams, managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios, and contributed significantly to the financial sector across Asia.

Mr. Masud is a Certified Credit Professional with strong expertise in sustainable finance, structured trade finance, liquidity management, and credit risk. He has also completed advanced executive programs at institutions including NUS, MIT Management School, Columbia Business School, and Tuck Business School, further strengthening his strategic and leadership capabilities.
