Mr. Nabil Mustafizur Rahman is the Chairman of UCB Investment Limited. He is acting as Additional Managing Director of United Commercial Bank Limited.

Mr. Nabil Mustafizur Rahman, having about 30 years of experience in both foreign and local banks, and financial institutions, and corporates joined UCB on March 22, 2018 in the rank and status of Additional Managing Director. Prior to joining UCB, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Transbangla Group. Before that he had worked with BRAC Bank and held the position of Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer.

Mr. Rahman is a seasoned leader in Project Finance, Structured Finance, Credit Risk Management of Corporate, Retail and SME Banking, and Islami Banking. He has hands on experience on large and complex project finance and structured finance deals. He has also advanced expertise on collection and impaired asset management, operational risk management, information security and Islami Banking.

Mr. Nabil Mustafizur Rahman is an IBA Graduate. He obtained MBA major in Finance and Management Science in 1993. After that he started his career in Hong Kong and worked in different general management roles with BRAC Bank, SCB, HSBC, AB Bank, IPDC of Bangladesh, Credit Agricole Indosuez, ANZ Grindlays Bank, and Beximco Group.

He has also attended various training courses and participated in seminars and workshops on different aspects of Banking, Leadership and Strategy, both locally and in abroad.
